Reframe Up - April 30, 2020
Training Description
This presentation focuses on the latest research in the areas of burnout and stress relief. You will learn some amazing calming techniques, how to utilize Apps and technology for stress relief, and even how you can teach these in the classroom! You will also learn Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to actually reframe your thoughts (to change how you feel!) around difficult situations, challenging students and even co-workers. We will also explore some new and exciting ways to keep yourself healthy to work in the helping field. Renew yourself and continue to work with purpose and joy!

Supporting learners in the Classroom and Beyond - May 7, 2020
Training Description
This training dives deep into the often "high crisis" lives of many of our adult learners. We will explore the impact of trauma on the brain and how this impacts learning. You will learn what research tells us about designing or modifying classroom interventions to maximize success. We will look at how to have difficult conversations, how to leverage Small Picture/Big Picture goal setting using the Charting the Lifecourse materials. We will offer an emotional regulation plan that can be used in a variety of ways. We will also touch on setting boundaries in the classroom that promote healthy social skills.

Crisis to Clarity - May 14, 2020
Training Description
With crisis can come great clarity. What can we learn, observe, strive for, in this time of turmoil? Join us for some examples of how to identify factors of resilience in ourselves and others, clarify our values and set mindful goals for living a life of meaning and purpose. We can thrive in times of crisis!
